What day is it anyway?

As I sit here and try to think of the “perfect” way to start my blogs, I secretly have to think extra hard…”what day is it anyway? Is it Spring, or Summer, or Winter?”… (because last night I was scrolling through some pins on Pinterest all about the mountains and a cozy Christmas).

At first I thought it was because, like everyone right now, we all are having a bit of a challenge to stay on track. Then I thought, maybe it’s because I retired about a month ago and everyday is Saturday!?, but that isn’t it.

Now I am filling every minute of my days working hard with our business and trying to stay halfway healthy. I mean, I AM walking (quickly) 4 miles a day, but I think that the bowl of ice cream every night is evening things out. In fact, it actually is SO delicious that I have now officially started calling it “soul food”…yes, good for the soul.

With that being said, I did figure out that it is officially Spring Time and I find myself being drawn to the bright pink and coral colored flowers that are now blooming in my backyard. So, Happy Spring everyone! Clean out a closet…inhale some sweet tangerine essential oils and bring on the pink tulips and yellow daffodils! – I am going to keep my promise this year to have fresh flowers on my kitchen table everyday…live simply and if there’s ever a time to do it, it’s now! For that matter, I may even put on some make up for the first time in 3 weeks…let’s talk soon, Kim xoxo
